"while travelling thru the area we usually stop to snoop,this trip we didn't plan on it.we instead stopped in elizabeth 12 miles down the road for a break. upon climbing back on our electraglide we had the rear passenger right footboard break off and fall to the ground.we were just starting our labor day weekend ride to springfield illinois for the ama flat track races and now needed to have the footboard reattached so we could continue our trip.upon arriving to galena hd the staff was busy sorting new inventory at the front counter when we walked in.emediately upon hearing we needed a repair the young man from service came out and looked at the problem.he then wrote out a repair order and took the bike downstairs into their service area.not 20 minutes later the stud that broke off flush to the frame that mounted the floorboard was drilled out and replaced with one from a bike that they had for sale. they had new studs ordered but they had not arrived so the repair was made from parts from their for sale bike.next trip back to galena we will be sure to thank them again for getting us back on the road with such fast and professional service.justin johnson was the young service technician that repaired our bike and galena hd dealership and harley davidson company can stand a little taller knowing they have such a fine employee working for them.again thanks for making our labor day ride the best it could be. mike and nancy dahl,janesville wisconsin "
